The Ballet de Force Company is our resident ballet performance group. This student company concentrates it’s training in classical ballet, character work, lyrical, and contemporary styles of dance. Dancers for the company must have previous experience in classical ballet and pass an audition process. Company members are required to train weekly and commit to a year round performing schedule. Ballet de Force performs at various community events such as Ocktober Fest, Western Days, Taste of Addison, Prosper Arts Festival, as well as various holiday events at retail centers such as Willow Bend and Stonebriar Mall. Along with the company’s civic performances, it also attends yearly competitions in conjunction with the DF competitive teams and show teams.

Ballet de Force has been known in the community for it’s original story ballets, but is also highly regarded at competitions due to, as one judge explained, “Staying true to real ballet.”
